MY DAILY LIFE. MY HOBBY.

I usually get up at 7 o'clock.
I do my morning exercises, clean my teeth, wash my face and hands and brush my hair.
Then I have breakfast.
For breakfast, I usually have porridge, eggs, tea or coffee and some jam.
Then I go to school. I go to school on foot.
It takes me 10 minutes to get to school.
School starts at half past eight.
I usually have four or five lessons a day.
I come home at 2 o'clock and have lunch at three.
Then I do my homework. After it, I go for a walk with my friends.
My parents usually return home at 7 p.m.
We have dinner at half past eight.
After dinner, we go to the living room, talk to each other there, read books or watch TV.
On Monday, Wednesday and Friday I attend a music school (English classes, dancing classes, a chess club).
At 10 o’clock, I take a shower, clean my teeth and go to bed.

Different people have different hobbies.

A hobby is doing things you enjoy.

Many people like collecting. They collect coins, stamps or badges.

Many people are fond of sport, music, travelling or photography. My mother enjoys cooking, my father likes visiting museums.

When I have free time I like watching different films. I am a cinemagoer. I go to the cinema once a month. I enjoy watching cartoons. Most of all I like Walt Disney's cartoons.

I am fond of reading. I have a very good collection of books at home. I like to read books about birds and animals. I also have books, which tell us about different countries. 

MY FLAT

We have a nice flat. Our flat is on the fifth floor. There are 3 rooms in my flat: a living room, a bedroom and a study. We also have a kitchen, a bathroom, a toilet and a hall. There are two balconies in our flat.

Our hall is not big. There are two closets and a mirror in it.

The living room is the largest and the most comfortable room in our flat. In the middle of the room there is a table and six chairs around it. There is also a wardrobe and a bookcase in our living room. There is a television in the corner of the room. There are two comfortable armchairs opposite the television. In front of the armchairs there is a small round table for newspapers and magazines. There is a brown carpet on the floor and long yellow curtains on the window.

The bedroom is smaller than the living room. In this room there is a bunk bed, a bedside table and a wardrobe. In the corner of the bedroom there is a small TV set. On the bedside table there is an alarm clock and a small lamp.

Our study is the smallest room in the flat, but it is very comfortable. There isn't much furniture in it. There is a desk, an armchair and a bookcase too. There is a small sofa near the wall opposite the bookcase. This is my room and this is my favourite room in our flat.

Our kitchen is big and light. There is a cooker, an oven, 2 cupboards, a round table, 4 chairs and a fridge in it.

My flat is very comfortable and nice. I like my flat very much!

MY FRIEND.

My name is Mary. I’m 10 years old. I have a lot of good friends. But my best friend  is Helen. Helen is my classmate. She is eleven years old. She is very clever and kind. She is tall. Her eyes are blue. Her hair is dark. She is very beautiful and she always wears nice clothes.  

Helen likes to read books and to play tennis. She likes to study very much. She likes to draw. She has got a pet at home, it's a cat. 
Helen  is very friendly. She can keep secrets. Sometimes she helps me with Maths (математика), because I’m not very good at it. And I help her with English. I spend much time with Helen at school and after school. We like to go for a walk and to play different games together. 

Helen is a very good girl. I like my friend very much!

SEASONS. MY FAVOURITE SEASON.

There are four seasons in a year: winter, spring, summer and autumn.

Winter is the coldest season of the year.

There are 3 months in winter: December, January and February.

December is the first winter month.

In winter the days are short and the nights are long.

It is usually snowy in winter.

In winter people celebrate New Year and Christmas.

Spring comes after winter.

There are 3 months in spring: March, April and May.

March is the first spring month.

In spring the days are long and the nights are short.

It’s usually warm and sunny in spring.

People celebrate the 8^th of March and the 9^th of May in spring.

Summer comes after spring.

Summer months are: June, July and August.

June is the first summer month.

In summer the days are long and the nights are short.

It’s usually hot and sunny in summer.

Children have the longest holidays in summer.

Autumn comes after summer.

Autumn months are: September, October and November.

September is the first autumn month.

In autumn the days are short and the nights are long.

It’s usually rainy in autumn.

School starts in September in Russia.

In October English people celebrate Halloween.

MY SCHOOL. MY CLASSROOM.

My name is ________. I live in Moscow. I go to school #1352. It’s big. There are a lot of classrooms in our school and a big beautiful hall in it. We have many beautiful trees and flowers near our school and a big playground. We like to play in the playground after classes. We have classes five days a week. We don’t go to school on Saturday and on Sunday. Every day we have 4 or 5 lessons. We study Maths, Russian, English, P.E., Reading, Music, Art and Nature Study. School starts at 8:30 in the morning, but we go to school at 8 o’clock to get ready for the lesson. Some pupils wear their school uniform: a white blouse or shirt and a grey skirt or trousers. 

My classroom is very comfortable. There are 15 desks in it. The teacher’s table is near the window. There are 3 windows in the classroom. The board is green. The floor is brown. There are nice pictures on the walls. There is a big bookcase near the window.

Our teacher’s name is _________. She is very clever, kind and beautiful.

My favourite subjects are English and P.E.

I study well. I have got a lot of friends in my school.

I like my school and my class very much!
